The Celestial Blue folk embroidery pattern is inspired by a folk embroideries from the Cyclades islands, this lavish design evokes a blue sky over garden paths resplendent with stylized flowers, vines, and ivy leaves. A beautiful example of the wide variety of shapes and motifs found in folk embroidery, it is stitched in soft blue and accented with warm terra cotta, taupe, and black. Shown finished as a cushion cover, the design can also be worked as a table runner or the borders can be used separately for various projects.
