Here is the current status of my Evangeline Border project. My project has been slowed by having to frog and restitch a significant section, and also by my new sewing hobby, which does take time away from my stitching. But I've decided that this weekend I'm going to take a deep-dive into this project and see how much progress I can make. I'll post a new picture on Sunday to show how far I was able to get. And, yes, I'm trying working with more than one color at a time, a new thing for me. Fun!

Absolutely gorgeous! Enjoy your deep dive!!
What a beautiful border 😍 Are you going to stitch anything in the middle like words or leave as is?
And here is my progress for the weekend. I'm a slow stitcher, so I didn't get as far as I hoped to, but the complexity of the pattern is starting to emerge. After a weekend of working on it, I feel inclined to keep going. The smaller projects I have in mind will have to wait.
Four floss colors at once! And soon to add a fifth.
Oh, one more thing! You did a great job centering the work on your ground cloth! For whatever reason, that's been my blunder of choice on the last few projects.
It looks like you've made quite a bit of progress on this since the last peek. The inside portion looks to be about halfway finished so you're on the home stretch! I'm going to echo yesterday's comment that I use multiple flosses at the same time for several reasons. First, it helps me to keep track and makes counting easier (for me, but YMMV). It also helps me to have a few stitches to anchor on the back side if I'm only stitching a couple of stitches of a given color. I also cheat and weave behind a few other stitches so I'm not creating too many bulky areas on the back side of the work where I'm anchoring at the end. That, combined with the loop method of starting helps me to keep the back of the work tidy. I hope that made some sense. In any case, I'm anxious to see your finished piece. It's going to look great in your house and you'll smile every time you glance at it!
