You inspired my to start my Daphni, and I'm well on my way. This is such a wonderful design and I'm always anxious to take it out of the hoop and watch it grow. I decided to go all out and make a table runner that's roughly twice as long, and it's such a fun project. I'm going to kind of miss working it when it's finished. I really like the mid-century feel of this design.
This is such a thoughtful gift and so pretty! It’s next in my project queue. I’m having trouble with my corners, too. With the drawn threads, they didn’t want to stay perfectly square, so I starched them that way. If anyone has a better tip, please share.
Thank you! I am hopeful that more practice will help. I learned a lot working on this hem stitch. Starching is a good idea. I didn’t think of trying that.
