I’m soldiering on with my adaptation of Corinthian Bridal Shawl! I’m using this pattern to make a headscarf that I will debut on Pascha. In the first picture you can see the ”completed” end, and the second one shows the other end which I’m working on right now. I say “completed“ because I‘ve just done the bare bones which I’ll fill in later, I wanted to make sure I had something to show since I didn’t know how long this would take!

Absolutely beautiful!!!
This is one of the things that I love about the Avlea designs. They can all be used in daily life, either as a table runner or other linen, a cushion, or any number of things. These designs don’t get frames behind glass and hung up (of which I have done my share), but rather become part of the beauty of one’s life.
Fantastic
This is beautiful. Your scarf will certainly be a family heirloom. Please consider wearing it frequently so you can enjoy it. Let it become your style statement!
That is lovely!
So, so beautiful.
Headscarf? part of a traditional Greek costume?
Thank you Krista! It looks like the pictures got flipped around and the image quality isn’t great, but you get the idea :)
This is so gorgeous!!
