I love these adorable Byzantine Beasts! My version uses brighter, primary colors. Krista's colors are stunning (of course!) and are more traditional, but my version needed to be brighter. I wasn't sure it would work, but I'm pleased. Plus this was a lot of fun to do.
I LOVE the colors you chose, and your finishing work is just fabulous! You flew through this - didn't Krista just release it? So impressive. It's such a happy piece, it's sure to bring joy.
I notice you have the same Omnigrid ruler that I use. That's such a useful little thing - possibly the most used tool I have other than my embroidery scissors.
