This gives me a good idea of how the wool works up. I really like it. The stitching is so even and fine. Santorini Stars looks like the perfect pattern to be done in the wools.
Thanks for the great close up shot of the wool floss in action. You satisfied my curiosity, and your stitches look great! It looks like no railroading is necessary because it's a single indivisible strand, right? If that's the case, you can probably stitch more quickly. And the coverage looks nice.
Thanks - glad my pics could help. Yes the thread is only one strand. I've been cross stitching for 30+ years. I've never railroaded. Just separate my threads initially and keep the from twisting as I stitch along.
