My first project- made some rookie mistakes- the first one that I noticed 2months in- I was stitching the short edge of the design on the long side of the fabric. I panicked for a week, then decided I would change it a bit and finish a kind of square. Just yesterday I taught myself the pulled stitch hemmy thing and voila, 1 year later, it’s done and I love it so much. I found this hobby just after we had a house fire- we’ve been living in a rental house for the last 15 months while it’s being restored- this is a kind of gift to that old house, and will be the first thing I put back into the space.
