I‘m making the Baltic scroll pillow, and it’ll be well used. Is it better to use stabilizer or some sort of backing on the ground cloth before stitching it into a pillow?
Yep--I totally get the overthinking things! And, it's great if you can take a project to completion before starting another. I love that sense of looking at a totally finished piece--it always inspires me when I begin the next one :)
I've never used a backing and I have pillows made out of Traditional Groundcloth that are now over 10 years old and still going strong. Machine wash delicate, cold and you should be fine. This fabric tends to very slightly "felt" over time and seems to get stronger with age.

Thank you! I think I just over think things. I appreciate the feedback. I’m trying to complete each project before starting the next.
